Our resident composer, The Backstar, has been working hard creating ‘mood pieces’ for Féileacán based on first reading the script. 80’s synth influences abound, including John Carpenter’s films, Vangelis’ Blade Runner soundtrack and Trevor Horn’s production on albums such as Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s classic, ‘Welcome to the Pleasuredome’ We’re excited to share his first piece here. The track has three elements, a quiet, technical introduction, with static and synth pads to build tension to a colossal rocking part, which circles around varying drum patterns and melodies before dropping back to a more serene ending.
